After almost two months of finding furniture and arranging our modest living room, it finally came together with a look that completely reflects our personality.

early morning crane

Liza Cordero
it's just another day at the office, until i saw this gigantic crane outside my window and felt the building shaking from the wrecking ball it seems to be applying above our floor. i wonder if i should even be here.
i think i have an innate fear of very big objects. i know that i get a little nervous when i see the big airplanes in the airport. but this crane looks like the giant worm in the men in black movie ack!

blessings...

have you ever taken a step back from your life and wondered at the amazing pattern God has weaved in it?
have you ever experienced worrying about something in your life, knowing what you need to fix the problem, but unable to find a possible solution to obtain what you need? i felt that way a couple of weeks ago and i prayed for God's help. i didn't instruct God on what we needed, i just prayed for help.
and like small gifts raining from heaven, i felt God's hand making the impossible possible. God worked through several people and provided for what we needed. and we didn't even need to ask twice, but i have prayed and said thank you so many times already since my prayer for help.
and this wasn't the first time this happened to me. it has happened so many times, but i have only started noticing after i got married...
this morning my best friend emailed me saying she is already pregnant. she has been praying for a baby since she got married and i felt so happy for her gift of life. as my friends and i mature in this world i feel how we have all grown much closer to God. from too-smart kids asking questions about religion and faith, we got married, settled down and turned to God. and miracles happen in our lives day after day, as dr. schuller would say, WOW!
they say that a child is blessed because of their innocence. but i feel that we, at this stage in life, are even more blessed. to have gone through so many trials and tribulations, to have turned our lives around and turn to God. to see this pattern in our life, to see the hand of God guiding us, loving us-- and to understand that it is so. that is truly a great blessing!
