There was a time when I could wear sexy high heels and walk in perfect balance. Those days are long gone. It ended when I tripped at a local parking lot on my way to meet my husband at The Block of Orange (now called The Outlets).
Now I'm confined to wearing flats or shoes whose heels my husband feels are safe for me to wear. As you can imagine, I have very limited choices and do not enjoy shoe-shopping as much as I used to.
My cousin is getting married in two weeks. His bride requested that all guests wear white - white! I used to avoid buying white dresses so I did not own one. And because I did not wear white dresses, I did not have shoes/sandals to wear with a white dress.
I found a nice pair of sandals that I absolutely love. The problem is that it did not come in white, only in silver or gold. The white dress I am wearing to my cousin's wedding has gold stitching. So I was going to buy the gold pair, but my husband said the silver one looked nice too and encouraged me to buy both since I can wear them to work as well during the hot summer months.
